WINDFORCE Advances TBR Performance with S-Type Jointless Steel Cord Winding Technology

WINDFORCE continues to advance its truck and bus tire solutions with S-type jointless steel cord winding technology, designed to enhance tire
durability and structural stability under demanding operating conditions.
Truck tires experience repeated compression and deformation during long-distance operation. In a traditional laminated belt structure, individual
steel cords bear loads separately, which may limit the overall strength of the belt system.
The S-type winding technology improves this structure by continuously winding bundles of high-strength steel cord to form a dense, jointless belt layer.
This construction creates a stronger hoop effect around the tire carcass, allowing loads to be distributed more evenly.
Additional steel cord reinforcement is also applied around the shoulder area, helping strengthen parts of the tire that are exposed to frequent stress
and wear. This design improves resistance to impacts from sharp objects, potholes and challenging road conditions.
The technology is being gradually applied to a new generation of WINDFORCE truck and bus tires, supporting reliable performance across a wide range
of transport applications.
WINDFORCE remains committed to developing practical tire solutions that deliver safety, durability and long-term value for customers worldwide.
